Traveling For Tempico Manufacturing, Inc.

This past week has been very busy with a trip to Wichita, Kansas then to Coldwich for a visit with ICM - the premier manufacturer of grain dryers. Tempico will be using them to build a new type vessel for use in the municipal waste/recovery process.

Concurrently, we met with a new customer to introduce them to this new process which has been named "Rotopulper". We think it is likely to be the newest venture that we can become involved with here in the States.

Mississippi Technical Conference

Monday and Tuesday were filled with updates on new and improved technologies that are available to CPAs and others. I think I will be able to apply some of these new ideas and improvements on old ones to my work. Also, I got 2 days worth of CPE which is a good thing.

I would recommend this course to all CPAs at least every two years. With all the changes that are being made in technology, it is impossible to keep up unless you can get it with someone like the K2 Enterprises.

Mother's Day

Today was a special day for the Morgan family. We celebrated the mothers in the family by preparing lunch, serving and cleaning up afterwards. The mothers present were Margaret Morgan (my mother), Betty (my wife), Shelley Boss (our daughter), Ashley Morgan (our daughter-in-law), Jan Morgan (our other daughter-in-law) and Morgan Burkle (our granddaughter).

The cooks were Joe, Steve, Brandi, Anna, David, Brittany, Terry, Joseph and Benjamin. We also were the waiters/waitresses for our mothers. This is what families are for and God has been so good to all of us.

Our menu consisted of:

Spring Mix Salad with lots of goodies added, spinach casserole, bacon wrapped asparagus, garlic and dill mashed potatoes, chicken with dried beef and herb seasoned port tenderloin. That was followed by a delicious hummingbird cake and coffee.
